Accounting Technician
General description of the position
Under the supervision of the Vice President, the applicant will be in charge of the accounting cycle.
Applicant’s tasks
- Taking part in the preparation of monthly financial statements
- Completing the financial analysis on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, as well as making the necessary regulatory entries
- Preparing documents for end-of-year audits
- Preparing various reports
- Proceeding with billing and accounts receivable management
- Ensuring the collection of all payments
- Processing accounts payable
- Performing customer account collection
- Preparing government reports (GST/QST)
- Transmitting the information required for the payment of salaries to the external payroll service
- Performing other related tasks

Required qualifications
- DEC in Accounting
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of Sage 50 Simple Comptable software
